Malebogo Kebabonye

Dr. Malebogo Kebabonye, MBcHB, BAO, MPH, is the Director of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Wellness. She is a Public Health Specialist.

Dr. Kebabonye is the chief technical advisor for the Ministry of Health and Wellness and in her role responsible for developing strategies for the improvement of public health in Botswana. She has served as the National Program Manager for Non-Communicable Diseases in Botswana and developed strategies for the integration on non-communicable diseases in the traditional service delivery model of primary health. Dr Kebabonye has worked also as a Regional Health Coordinated and through her leadership was able to lead the pilot project for the community oriented primary health care delivery model in a small village of Matsaudi in Ngamiland region.

Dr Kebabonye brings forth her experience in primary health care delivery models and system strengthening for sustainable service delivery at all levels.
